Gregory T. Reardon, president of Valuation Advisors, Inc. and Reardon Consulting, Inc. is a nationally known healthcare expert working closely with hospital executives and physician executives and their attorneys attempting to comply with some of the highly complex issues involving the relationships among healthcare providers and acute-care entities. Greg wrote and for the past 10 years has taught and now co-sponsors the Consultants Training Institute¹ (CTI) training program "Healthcare Consulting Workshop" with the NACVA Alliance Partners Group². This is a National Workshop which is taught at multiple locations throughout the country. Each presentation encompasses 5 days of specialized training to valuators and other healthcare consultants who want to understand the dynamics of medical practices as well as to help medical practitioners and administrators refresh their knowledge in this segment of the healthcare arena. Greg developed and now presents several national Webinars also co-sponsored by the NACVA Alliance Partners Group producing a series of web enhanced national audio conferences that address topics that have an impact on the valuation community involved in the healthcare sector.

Shawn J. R. Dorsett is a principal in The Reardon Group. She manages the Accounting and Management Divisions of the firm. Ms. Dorsett has provided multiple services for our clients with primary activities in over thirteen states. Among others, these services include preparation of budgets, federal and state registrations, and tax returns (payroll, sales/use, and income). She assists clients in federal, state, and local audits, and in the establishment of bookkeeping and payroll systems, loans, and leases. Ms. Dorsett also assists clients with health services research, strategic planning, trend and demographic analyses, and the development of regional and national data relevant to each client's specific marketplace.

Richard J. Lohkamp is a Principal with Reardon Consulting, Inc. Dick has thirty-five years experience in healthcare management and consulting. As a consultant in strategic planning, business unit development, facility planning and performance improvement engagements, he has served over 200 health care clients - ranging from healthcare systems and academic institutions to individual medical practices - in at least 15 states. Since joining RC in October of 1998, he has served as Principal-in-Charge in merger negotiations, contract and service agreement development, strategic planning and market analyses. He has authored articles on Physician Needs Assessment and on the development of Physician Organizations. Dick's published study on Physician Needs Assessment is still quoted today, almost 20 years after its creation. In addition to his consulting work, Dick also teaches business ethics at Villanova University.

Weiss + Reardon (W+R), the founding organization established by Isadore Weiss, is a regional public accounting firm created in 1947. Valuation Advisors, Inc., (VA) and Reardon Consulting, Inc. (RC), were established in 1994 as complementary entities to their independent sister company-W+R. Thus, the three entities today are known as The Reardon Group of Companies (TRG). Gregory T. Reardon, the company President, manages the three firms.

Our firm participates in the Peer Review program prescribed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Weiss + Reardon was last reviewed in June 2007. The resulting report stated that all of our accounting practices and procedures complied with or exceeded the standards of the industry.

The firm is registered with the National Registry of CPE Sponsors which is a program offered by the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) to recognize CPE program sponsors who provide continuing professional education (CPE) programs in accordance with nationally recognized standards in both Group-Live and Group-Internet Based settings. The names of approved CPE program sponsors are published in a listing distributed throughout the country via the internet and in printed format. State boards of accountancy and their licensees can refer to this listing to identify and select CPE program sponsors. We are also licensed by the State of Pennsylvania as a CPE provider.

RC concentrates in providing a full range of consulting services to the healthcare sector including: strategic planning, governance and board education, service-line management, needs assessments, regulatory compliance audits for hospital and physician based practices, departmental service-line development, financing arrangements, service as a TPA for hospitals based physician subsidiaries, on-call management, coding reviews, physician and healthcare executive compensation plans, mediation services, practice performance reviews, practice management, performance benchmarking and physician contracting and personal service arrangements.

VA’s range of services include: real world valuations, reasonableness opinions, and fair market value compensation conclusions within our areas of specialization. VA in conjunction with RC also co-sponsors the National Consultants Training Institute and provides Web based training on healthcare related issues.

W+R provides accounting as well as strategic tax and financial services to selected niche markets involving companies and individuals engaged in highly regulated business sectors including finance, medicine and transportation (ambulance and common carrier). This, our accounting firm, continues its long history of providing independent accounting services that provide executives and professionals involved in these sectors with useful, compliant and affordable tools that they can use in managing their entities in addition to providing the traditional tax services we also provide accounting services such as compilation, review and audit.
